Learning outcomes (list)

CONCEPT CHOICE
The student is able to optimize an industrial thermal process on energy consumption by drawing up the proper network of heat exchangers. (pinch analysis)
The student is able of determining the optimal energy consumption of an industrial thermal process (pinch analysis).
DESIGN
The student is able to draw up an energy balance of an energy using industrial component.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
The student is able to monitor the overall energy management in compliance with current legislation.
The student knows how to implement ISO 50001 in an organisation.
The student is able of defining an energy policy, strategic and operational energy objectives within the framework of ISO 50001.
De student is in staat om berekeningen uit te voeren in verband met primaire en secundaire energiebronnen.
The student is able of visualizing, analyzing, and interpreting the energy consumption of a component based on energetic consumption data, considering parameters or implemented energy-saving measures.
The student is able of determining the energy content and CO2 emissions of various types of energy carriers based on the most common units of measurement.
