Learning outcomes (list)

Be familiar with various journalistic (specialised) work environments and the (international) media landscape and be able to reflect critically on the role of journalism, the developments within the field and the social, ethical, deontological and legal implications of journalistic expressions.
You explain the uniqueness of the different media in Flanders and how they report on current events.
Continuing to function effectively under high time or work pressure by efficiently organising and planning journalistic activities and correctly assessing the consequences of (own) decisions and actions. Following up activities, tasks and agreements correctly, taking into account deadlines, and proceeding systematically when analysing non-confidential complex problems.
You organise a journalistic assignment (about current affairs in Flanders) in a small editorial group, against a tight deadline.
To function efficiently and collegially as a member of a multidisciplinary team (mono-media/multi-media/cross-media editorial team) in which one expresses one's own opinions and points of view with respect for others. Constructive and collaborative participation in the process of consultation and action with the willingness and ability to adjust work (own and that of others) and procedures. Taking joint responsibility for collective goals and results.
You show clear commitment when working together on a journalistic assignment (about current events in Flanders).
