You'll create a live news story in an editorial group.
You'll create video reports in a daily production rhythm for a specific target group.
You can selectively, critically and objectively acquire, analyse and double-check relevant information from various Dutch-speaking and non-Dutch-speaking (traditional, scientific and alternative) sources and information channels using an appropriate technique. This also in unfamiliar and complex contexts.
You use thorough research skills in a complex editorial context.
Autonomously determine and evaluate relevant and appropriate topics and angles, taking into account the production objective, the target group, the medium, the news value and the reliability of the source.
You choose relevant topics and angles taking into account the production objective, the target group and the medium in a complex editorial context.
Continuing to function effectively under high time or work pressure by efficiently organising and planning journalistic activities and correctly assessing the consequences of (own) decisions and actions. Following up activities, tasks and agreements correctly, taking into account deadlines, and proceeding systematically when analysing non-confidential complex problems.
You'll be responsible for the process (from brainstorm to finished product) of multiple medium-specific realizations on a weekly or monthly basis.
To function efficiently and collegially as a member of a multidisciplinary team (mono-media/multi-media/cross-media editorial team) in which one expresses one's own opinions and points of view with respect for others. Constructive and collaborative participation in the process of consultation and action with the willingness and ability to adjust work (own and that of others) and procedures. Taking joint responsibility for collective goals and results.
You'll work effectively as part of a team to produce a publishable/broadcast journalistic final product.
