Learning outcomes (list)

Is customer focused. The business professional acts in the interest of the customer;
The student formulates relevant hypotheses when dissecting and assessing a legal question about .b law on property and securities. The student makes cascade reasonings when dissecting and assessing a legal question about .b law on property and securities.
Understands law fields and aspects most relevant to the business world; he/she can resolve less complex practical problems within these fields.
The student explains concepts and doctrines regarding property and security law in correct legal terms (using an illuminating example). The student explains the conditions of application for a particular doctrine with regard to property and security law.
The student explains which rules of property and security law apply to the case, what they exactly entail and then indicates what result they lead to when applied to the case.
Systematically makes use of professional business sources and critically interprets the derived information before acting upon it;
The student correctly applies the legal rules regarding property and security law when dissecting and assessing a legal question with.b regard to goods and securities law.
Substantively supports the law professionals (bailiffs, notaries public, magistrates, barristers, solicitors,…)
In practical situations, the student unravels and dissects the (various, possible) problems of property and security law and formulates suitable and conclusive solutions to avoid these problems or to remedy these problems.
Takes responsibility for his / her own professional development, independently monitors trends in function of his / her own professional development and integrates these new insights.
The student monitors developments in legislation and case law with regard to property and security law and can indicate how they can influence the outcome of a concrete legal question.
