Learning outcomes (list)

Understands law fields and aspects most relevant to the business world; he/she can resolve less complex practical problems within these fields.
The student describes employment law concepts.
Systematically makes use of professional business sources and critically interprets the derived information before acting upon it;
The student can apply the general civil law where labor law provides no specific rules.
The student correctly applies the legal rules regarding employment law when dissecting and assessing a legal question about .b employment law.
Prepares, handles and follows up, independently or as part of a team, legal case/files within the confines of applicable regulations, procedures and guidelines within the para-legal profession.
The student applies the hierarchy of sources of law in Employment Law.
Students analyze a problem situation which presents itself in the employer-employee relationship
Substantively supports the law professionals (bailiffs, notaries public, magistrates, barristers, solicitors,…)
In practical situations, the student untangles and dissects the (various, possible) problems of employment law and formulates suitable and conclusive solutions to avoid these problems or to remedy these problems.
