Learning outcomes (list)

Masters general concepts of business economics in a global economy and legal environment;
The student sets up a fictitious company and works out the commercial, financial and legal aspects.
The student prepares an advice to the governing body of the company and presents the business plan.
Communicates, reports, presents and argues in an efficient and effective way in Dutch within the confines of his/her business context;
The student conducts a legally informed debate anticipating arguments from the opposing side.
The student informs candidate student about the training BM-Legal Practice (during SIDIN, info day, at secondary school...).
Understands law fields and aspects most relevant to the business world; he/she can resolve less complex practical problems within these fields.
The student analyzes and interprets legal problems.
Systematically makes use of professional business sources and critically interprets the derived information before acting upon it;
The student solves a cross-curricular legal problem and refers to the correct sources of law.
Performs the job independently without much supervision; takes initiative, is creative and persisting. He/she understands the importance of life long learning.
The student makes a SWOT analysis of the program.
Substantively supports the law professionals (bailiffs, notaries public, magistrates, barristers, solicitors,…)
The student develops written and oral legal skills.
Takes responsibility for his / her own professional development, independently monitors trends in function of his / her own professional development and integrates these new insights.
The student takes a legal refresher course.
