Learning outcomes (list)

Acquaintance with the professional workplace, ability to situate it in relation to related specialist fields
The student can identify and characterize the players in the real estate market.
The student can describe the organization of the professional federations and the Institute of Professional Real Estate Agents (BIV) and recognizes their importance.
The student can compare the duties of the real estate agent with related professions and link them to the professional profile.
Communicate well and clearly in a commercial manner (including reporting) with (potential) customers and the ability to express themselves in a professional context in different languages.
The student can use specific real estate language
Mediate on behalf of third parties in a sale, purchase, exchange, lease or transfer of real estate, real estate rights or commercial firms.
The student can draw up and reflect upon a conclusive sales agreement or mandate.
The student follows up on current events in the real estate market and can feed them back into the subject matter.
Independently document, analyse and manage a real estate dossier in all its facets: architecturally, financially, from a taxation point of view, economically and legally.
The student can consult and interpret the statistics on the real estate market.
Set up, organise and run a real estate office / land-surveying office on their own.
The student can recognize the operation of the real estate agency and recognize the fees and expenses and calculate
Correctly compile and adapt real estate agreements in a legally correct manner, fulfil the concomitant administrative formalities and carry out financial transactions, independently.
The student knows the clauses which allowed for a contract and are prohibited and can handle it.
