Learning outcomes (list)

Interpret and apply job-related rules and regulations, relating, in particular to: civil and judicial law, building and real estate law, environmental law, town and country planning law, tax law, ... and to advise on these in a meaningful manner.
Students can discuss, recognize and aply nuisance neighbors and law abuse
The student can list the property claims and briefly discuss
The student can explain the legal concept of 'possession'
The student is able to explain the legal concept demarcation on the basis of examples
The student is able to explain the concept and proof of ownership
The student is able to discuss, recognize and apply the property law system and the different propertylaw rights
Communicate well and clearly in a commercial manner (including reporting) with (potential) customers and the ability to express themselves in a professional context in different languages.
The student can use specific real estate language
Mediate on behalf of third parties in a sale, purchase, exchange, lease or transfer of real estate, real estate rights or commercial firms.
The student can deal with concrete cases of less complete rights (eg building, leasehold, usufruct, ...) and interpret and analyze these.
Document, analyse and manage in all its facets a technical-administrative-legal dossier relating to a land-surveying object on their own.
The student can distinguish the goods according to the B.W.
The student can list the different types of co-ownership and explain on the basis of examples
The student can list the ways of the acquisition of property and briefly discuss them
Independently document, analyse and manage a real estate dossier in all its facets: architecturally, financially, from a taxation point of view, economically and legally.
