Learning outcomes (list)

Interpret and apply job-related rules and regulations, relating, in particular to: civil and judicial law, building and real estate law, environmental law, town and country planning law, tax law, ... and to advise on these in a meaningful manner.
The student can find, use and interpret the European and Flemish regulations correctly on GIS and GDI.
The student can use his own words to explain the history and content of the products of 'Informatie Vlaanderen'.
Collect, analyse and apply urban development information in a spatial context
The student can consult GIS viewers and interpret correctly.
Communicate well and clearly in a commercial manner (including reporting) with (potential) customers and the ability to express themselves in a professional context in different languages.
The student can use specific real estate language
Independently select and apply land-surveying measuring techniques, wtih an eye for detail, accuracy and reliability, and subsequently process the measuring data. Collect, interpret and process information by means of land information systems and geographical information systems. Ability to process land data numerically and graphically and make legal and administrative references.
The student can collect acurate geodata, storing, querying and analyzing the geodata in the software.
The student can prepare a drawing automatically with the intention to carry on analyzes.
The student can critically evaluate the collected geodata.
The student can look up, store, analyse and present open (height) data in an unequivocal output.
The student can independently solve simple spatial problems through GIS analysis and present it in the given software.
The student can make and manage geodatabases.
