Learning outcomes (list)

Interpret and apply job-related rules and regulations, relating, in particular to: civil and judicial law, building and real estate law, environmental law, town and country planning law, tax law, ... and to advise on these in a meaningful manner.
The student can name, look up and explain the different documents belonging to an environmental license, a tender, execution and the rounding off of a yard.
Acquaintance with the professional workplace, ability to situate it in relation to related specialist fields
The student knows the rights and obligations and the function of the surveyor and the main construction partners and can use them when assessing common situations on the construction site.
Carry out a study, design and develop a space, including the provision of guidance during the implementation, with due consideration for the environment and safety.
The student knows the rules regarding well-being, environment and quality on the construction site.
The student participates in the external examination to obtain the VOL-VCA.
Communicate well and clearly in a commercial manner (including reporting) with (potential) customers and the ability to express themselves in a professional context in different languages.
The student can use specific real estate language
Independently select and apply land-surveying measuring techniques, wtih an eye for detail, accuracy and reliability, and subsequently process the measuring data. Collect, interpret and process information by means of land information systems and geographical information systems. Ability to process land data numerically and graphically and make legal and administrative references.
The student knows the task of the surveyor on site.
The student can describe various commonly used measurement techniques in site surveying (setting out, monitoring, settlement measurements, machine control, etc.) and explain the equipment and measurement techniques used, with an eye for accuracy and sources of error.
