Learning outcomes (list)

1.1 The student independently broadens and explores repertoire related to his or her discipline.
The student develops a broad repertoire knowledge through in-depth study of instrumental duo performance, vocal accompaniment (with a crucial focus on language and coaching skills), dance/ballet accompaniment and chamber music.
2.3 The student can process musical structures through analysis and interpretation.
The student is able to make and play piano reductions from orchestra full score on the spot.
2.4 The student has acquired the correct playing techniques and posture.
Under guidance, the student can warm up his or her own voice and body
3.1 The student can employ his or her social and communication skills in order to take on a leadership role.
The student shows an attitude of usefulness and takes on a supportive role that is essential for collaborative pianists throughout their careers.

- Expanding repertoire knowledge of vocal music, and especially opera and oratorio
- Develop language and coaching skills
- Applying the supportive attitude of a rehearser in artistic practice
- Style-conscious interpretation
- Applying improvisation and practical harmony in function of e.g. recitative accompaniment
- Play orchestral reductions and, through an understanding of harmonic structures, adapt them if necessary
- Playing under the guidance of a conductor
- Development of one's own singing voice
- Singing and playing simultaneously when reproducing an opera or oratorio extract

Keyboard excerpts from operas, oratorios and ballets.
