Course content

Artistic developing and personal interpretation

In the second part of Digital Imaging, you will expand the skills you acquired earlier. You will research combining manual and digital techniques to create visually strong and personal presentations. You will work with care regarding detail, layout and storytelling, always using your own style and vision as a starting point.

Assignment 1 – First semester: Historical costume book

During the first semester, you will work on a historical costume book. In this book, you will present your interpretation of a costume, based on thorough research and a personal work process. You will not only capture the atmosphere and context, but also your own artistic vision. The result is a fascinating and visually appealing book, combining manual techniques with digital image processing.

Assignment 2 – Second semester: Collection book

In the second semester, you will create a collection book in which you present a clear concept and a detailed collection. You will showcase your research, sources of inspiration and creative process in a carefully designed and bound book. The focus is on aesthetics, structure and your personal artistic approach. You will develop the final result both manually and digitally, and submit it in the form of a finished PDF.
