Course content

Expanding cultural perspective and professional presentation

In this third part of Digital Imaging, you will continue to refine your graphic skills and artistic development. You will learn to translate your research, ideas and designs into a visually powerful and personal end result. Both manual and digital techniques will be combined into a whole, with your own style at the heart of it.

Assignment 1 – First semester: World costume book

During the first semester, you will work on a world costume book, in which you will research a costume from another culture and interpret it in a creative way. You will conduct in-depth research, develop your own vision and incorporate this into a personal and artistically designed book. You will bring together the atmosphere, the work process and your insights in a combination of manual techniques and digital image processing.

Assignment 2 – Second semester: Collection book

In the second semester, you will create a collection book in which you present your design concept and collection in a convincing manner. You will clearly show the preliminary research and the creative process and ensure an aesthetically pleasing layout. The end result is a professionally bound book and a polished digital PDF.

Your personality, creativity and artistic approach will also form the common thread here.
