Learning outcomes (list)

BA1 - The student has the necessary artistic skills to design and/or realize a personal project within the broad spectrum of the visual arts under supervision.
The student can realise an art edition / portfolio / artist's book with a series of images.
The student can design a series of works that belong together.
BA2 - The student has the necessary knowledge, skills and insights regarding material, form, action, concepts, function and contents of the chosen medi
The student can complete a design for a series of works and print these in edition.
BA4 - The student develops and sharpens his/her critical and investigative attitude towards designs and/or realizations that arise from visual experiments and research, emotion and intuition.
The student can work independently and critically and experiments in with technical and artistic aspects.

Course content

During the first semester the student is individually guided in his search for a personal trajectory inside of the chosen media. The student is stimulated to come to a union within the language of his imagery. At the end of the term he develops a clear idea about the art project, which he will produce during the second semester. During the first evaluation, this project will be put to the board as a proposal, together with an amount of prints, already produced.

Permanent evaluation based on various presentation and review moments during the year, concluded with a jury at the end of the academic year.
