Course content

In the ‘Concept Dramaturgy 3’ course, students develop their own dramaturgical concept based on a substantive theme or a theatrical text. Initially, they research the theme or analyze the text. Based on this, students develop their own visual and/or textual concept for a performance, which serves as the foundation for the costume design and scenography assignments associated with this course. In the final presentation, dramaturgy clarifies how the designs can be activated through performative means and what these communicate to the audience.
