Course content

Material Knowledge offers a comprehensive insight into both natural and synthetic raw materials, fibres, textile structures, and weaving techniques, including various methods of finishing and processing. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship through hands-on workshops that explore the fundamental processes of textile creation. The course also delves into the upcycling of textile materials, emerging technologies, and innovations, with a forward-looking perspective on the future of materials.
