Learning outcomes (list)

1.1 The student masters the representative repertoire for his or her discipline.
The student can perform representative exam repertoire or works from the same level.
2.2 The student makes progress through independent study.
The student applies a structured and regular study method.
The student applies a structured and regular study method in order to train and improve the voice.
2.4 The student masters the correct playing techniques and postures.
The student masters the basic technical elements in relation to articulation and sound production.
The student has a healthy and functional posture when performing.
The student learns to get his or her breathing under control.
The student learns the fundamentals of various languages from a comprehension and pronunciation point of view.
The student learns to use his or her voice in a healthy and functional manner.
3.1 The student possesses social and communication skills.
The student learns to work in a punctual and respectful manner with piano coaches.

Course content

Read the study guide.
The annual program is determined in consultation with the main teacher.

* Technical skill of the voice.
* Use of the body when singing: breathing, proper support, proper use of the body.
* Knowledge of vocal exercises, song repertoire – translating and reciting poems.
* Oratorio: content of the work, the history of it, instrumentation, being able to choose one's own arias.
* Opera: the same as oratorio. Attend many concerts, listen to CDs, and read.
* Individual lessons are necessary for the technique of each student; each person is made differently, each has their own problems and difficulties. These cannot be solved in group lessons.
* Sometimes practice can be better processed in group lessons because students then listen more to each other (which is very important). + breathing technique in a group context
* Going together with students to certain concerts or listening to recordings related to the lessons.
Possibly repeating the concert to perform even better.
* Active and/or passive participation in masterclasses.

Evaluation (text)

Evaluation forms:-
Internal evaluations of the annual program take place during class concerts and group lessons by the teacher(s) and fellow students.
- The skill test is conducted during the designated exam period for an internal jury.

Evaluation standards:
The student achieves the final competencies, demonstrates mastery of the instrument, and can interpret a score with insight, knowledge of style, and artistic presence.

Skill test, 100% of the points, consisting of a performance of at least 15 minutes with a mixed recital program.

Specification regarding the exam repertoire:
The student chooses the program in consultation with the lead teacher. The program includes works from various stylistic periods.
