Learning outcomes (list)

1.1 The student masters the representative repertoire for his or her discipline.
The student can perform representative exam repertoire in various styles.
The student can perform representative exam repertoire or works from the same level.
1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student demonstrates an advanced mastery of musical parameters in a stylistically responsible and creative interpretation, as learnt from the teacher.
1.5 The student engages in a musical confrontation with the audience.
The student communciates with the audience with a healthy and developed voice.

2.1 The student masters the musical parameters and structures.

The annual programme is determined in consultation with the head teacher.

* Technical skill of the voice.
* Use of the body when singing: breathing, correct support, correct use of the body.
* Knowledge of vocalises, song repertoire – translating and reciting poems.
* Oratorio: content of the work, its history, instrumentation, knowing how to choose your own arias.
* Opera: the same as oratorio Going to concerts a lot, listening to and reading CDs.
* Individual lessons are necessary for the technique of each student, each person is made differently, each has his or her own problems and difficulties. These cannot be solved in group lessons.
* Practice can sometimes be better processed in group lessons because the students then listen to each other more (very important). + breathing technique in a group context
* Going to certain concerts together with students or listening to recordings that relate to the lessons.
* Before the exam: giving class concerts so that they learn to perform for the public. Possibly repeat the concert to perform even better.
* Active and/or passive participation in masterclasses.

Evaluation (text)

Evaluation methods:
- Internal evaluations of the annual programme are carried out at class concerts and group lessons by teacher(s) and fellow students.
- The public proficiency test is taken during the examination period provided for this purpose before an internal + external jury.

Evaluation standards:
The student achieves the final competences, demonstrates that he/she has mastered the instrument and that he/she can interpret a score with insight, knowledge of style and artistic charisma.

Proficiency test, 100% of the points, consisting of 1 public test of min. 30 minutes with a mixed recital programme

Specification regarding the examination repertoire:
The student chooses the programme in consultation with the main teacher. The programme contains works from various style periods for a total of 30 minutes.
