Learning outcomes (list)

1.4 The student is musically creative.
The student creates a scenic presentation by concentrating specifically on one role from the repertoire. The student can not only analyse this character but can also present the character in scenic format in solo form (arias) and in a group (ensembles).
The student can analyse an operatic role independently and in a group.
The student can scenically present an operatic role independently and in a group.

Course content

Acting
We delve into the analysis and performance of arias and ensembles from the opera repertoire. The student must determine the content and form of the scenes themselves, but also learn to adapt them to critical comments.
In the second semester, this course is taught in thematic workshops.

Scenic improvisation
-performing acting and improvisation assignments that enable the student to explore fantasy and empathy.
-general preparation for later opera lessons
