The student independently learns the orchestral excerpts but consults the teacher for advice.

Course content

Students prepare themselves to perform professionally within an orchestra. To this end, they study relevant (the passages requested at various auditions) passages for their instrument from orchestral literature and frequently requested concertos or solo works at auditions in professional orchestras.

Individual or group lessons are given.

Students take a compulsory module every year.

A dummy audition is organised in which students may participate voluntarily.
