You reflect on the impact of e-health on the daily professional functioning of the gerontological consultant.
The gerontological consultant proactively responds to current developments and trends in society, such as developments in social entrepreneurship and gerontechnology.  He scans developments and trends for their age-friendliness and modifies associated projects according to the needs of older adults.
Based on targeted research work, you describe e-health within different help and service contexts and name the possibilities and limitations in its use.
You indicate what is needed for help and service personnel to learn to use information and communication technology.
You implement e-health in a group of help and service providers. In doing so, you examine what forms of e-health are used, what barriers are involved in using e-health and make proposals to overcome these barriers.
You demonstrate the added value of e-healh within the gerontological context.
The gerontological counselor thinks critically, reflects on relevant policy topics and tests them for their age-friendliness. He assesses policies according to the needs, desires and interests of older adults themselves.
