2. Basic measurements & testing – Physical: I perform water-side and air-side measurements and tests to ensure the proper functioning of an HVAC system.
| I justify the correct choice of pump, compressor, and/or fan in line with the application. |
| I explain the operating principle of rotating mechanical equipment. |
| I list the components of rotating mechanical equipment. |
| I determine the pressure distribution in a stationary fluid and the upward force that this fluid exerts on an object. |
| I size an installation (pipe losses and diameter, pump and fan characteristics) based on the type of application. |
3. Read & interpret information: I read and interpret technical information and manuals in Dutch and English, including electrical, process, and instrumentation diagrams.

6. Inform & advise: I inform, advise and propose improvements to colleagues, supervisors, and clients with the aim of using and ensuring the efficient operation of a system.
