You organize, coordinate, and evaluate department-specific catering activities by drawing up schedules and task assignments, monitoring them, and adjusting them where necessary.
You will calculate minimum staffing requirements and draw up a staffing plan (timetable). |
You describe and explain the duties of managerial and executive staff of a Rooms Division department and of other departments. |
You recognise different forms of exploitation and know the specific differences. |
You know the SOPs of the reception and reservations department |
You situate functions of a Rooms Division department and of other departments in an organisational chart. |
You are jointly responsible for implementing a high-quality, up-to-date, profitable, and efficient rental and/or sales policy for the department.
You will analyse and interpret hotel KPIs and set a budget. |
You calculate the occupancy, average price, revpar and yield (KPIs)of a lodging. |
You calculate a sales price and costs in a Rooms |
You know the different possibilities of up selling and cross selling. |
You apply revenue management. |
You communicate with guests, customers, suppliers, and colleagues from a hospitality perspective. You can do this both written and verbally, with attention to the diverse and multilingual context.
