Short description

This course is designed to help you understand the importance and scope of risk management within the financial sector. We’ll take a closer look at both Belgian and international laws and regulations that shape how financial institutions manage risk.

The focus is on combining theory with real-world application. You’ll learn the key concepts behind risk management, but also how these ideas are put into practice in financial institutions. To make this more concrete, we’ll examine real national and international case studies that the lecturer has been directly involved in. Where possible, guest speakers will also join us to share their insights and experiences.

The course is taught in English.
