Course content
Students have the choice between an internal assignment (an assignment prepared by the Hotel Management programme) and an external assignment.
The external assignment is developed in cooperation with a company in the hospitality sector. In an external assignment, students function within an agreement concluded between the Hotel Management programme, the company and the student. The external assignments are group work, where a research assignment is carried out for each student based on the company info provided.
For the internal assignment, students work on the following four themes:
-the customer journey;
-sustainability in the hospitality sector;
-HRM in the hospitality industry;
-the hotel of the future.
The internal assignment is a group event with a strong focus on individual effort within the group. Students work out a sub-theme for a theme individually. The group work involves incorporating all sub-themes into a joint paper and forming one editorial.
The internal and external assignments are defended individually in front of an internal and external jury.
