Course content

The Master Project accompanies the student throughout the entire MA Dance program. Although it is primarily an individual process, the program offers tools to support, develop, and create the Master Project in dialogue with mentors, peers, and the Master team. The concepts, methods, and practices shared in the previous modules are implemented in the outcomes proposed by the student.

The Master Project course is guided by various teaching artists with diverse backgrounds. During the first work period, students collectively and individually share their Master Projects and present an initial try-out of their results under the guidance of the instructor. At this point in their journey, students are expected to present, perform, and develop their embodied artistic research both physically and cognitively, while still having time to refine it further leading up to the Master Jury. In the final work period, the teaching artist will support the students both individually and collectively in preparation for their Master Project presentations.

A detailed description of this course component can be found in the Vademecum.
