Learning outcomes (list)

You describe the most important international (maritime) transport flows and the most important (overseas) routes.
You describe the logistic profile of a country in which the economic situation and geographical characteristics of that country are mapped.
You indicate seas, harbours, roads, lands, rivers and canals on a blind map.
You give an overview of the most important industrial areas in the EU and can situate them spatially.
You will identify the main Belgian and international logistics hubs and transport networks (all modes of transport) and be able to situate them spatially.
You identify the main spatial patterns in domestic, European and global trade.
You characterise the most important Belgian and world ports in terms of their assets, nautical accessibility, hinterland connections and opportunities for growth.
