Prerequisites

having finished at least 60 ects credits in programme part (year) 1 AND having finished at least 54 ects credits in programme part (year) 2 AND to be taken together with Workplacement_AF.

Learning outcomes (list)

OLR AF 1 The Bachelor BM/AF has an understanding of tax, parafiscal, legal and accounting regulations and processes, general business and organisational processes and their interrelationships, and can apply this understanding in a broad, globalised, changing and (inter)national context.
You will analyze a topic within a given situation from the accounting or tax field.
You will integrate current legislation and the regulatory framework within the development of your research topic.
You will take into account the wishes of your client within the accountancy or tax sector in the development of your research topic
You convince the jury of your knowledge and understanding of the accounting and/or tax industry.
OLR AF 3 The bachelor BM/AF shows entrepreneurial spirit, works independently, planned, flexible and accurate and acts solution-oriented and innovative to optimise tax, parafiscal, legal and accounting processes.
You work independently, methodically and accurately to produce a solution-oriented research report.
OLR AF 5 The bachelor BM/AF uses accounting software and digital tools efficiently and effectively to support internal and external stakeholders and strives for high digital literacy.
You integrate job-specific ICT applications for a variety of job-specific situations.
OLR AF 6 The Bachelor BM/AF demonstrates a critical investigative attitude, penetrates the meaning behind the data and can report it clearly to arrive at useful advice.
You will autonomously synthesize the collected research results.
You reflect critically on the limitations of your research.
You develop a relevant research design and method based on your case and angle of approach.
Based on the acquired insights from the research, you formulate a thoroughly substantiated opinion on the case and angle of approach.
OLR AF 7 The bachelor BM/AF communicates professionally in a professional context in Dutch, French and English both in writing and orally.
You will present your undergraduate thesis using appropriate business terminology.
OLR AF 9 The Bachelor BM/AF acts in an ethical, deontological and socially responsible manner and reflects on their own actions and those of others.
You propose deontological and/or socially responsible recommendations that answer your case and corresponding angle of approach.
OLR AF 10 The bachelor BM/AF assumes responsibility for his personal professional development, independently monitors (inter)national trends and consequently integrates the resulting insights.
You formulate from previously acquired insights of national and international trends and current events possible improvement opportunities for the company.
