Materialize
You purposefully apply basic operations to the polygonal structure of an existing 3D model to obtain an optimised topology.
You develop skills to generatively create 3D models based on splines.
You apply remeshing tools to generate an optimised polygon model within a 3D environment.
You develop skills to correctly apply the basic characteristics of PBR (physically based rendering) materials to 3D objects.
You apply various material projection methods to accurately map textures to 3D objects.
You develop skills to apply basic lighting techniques to visualise 3D objects.
You correctly set virutal camera settings to render a 3D scene in a desired way.
You apply basic rendering settings to optimise output quality of a 3D render.
You develop skills to incorporate external 3D assets correctly and contextually into an existing 3D scene.
You apply techniques to build complex 3D scenes procedurally by placing 3D objects in a generative way.
You apply editing techniques in a photo editing programme to improve the quality of a rendered image.
You apply techniques to combine a 3D render with live-action images in image editing software
Professionalizing
