You understand the basic concepts of business economics in hospitality: USAH, income statement, KPIs.
You describe the basic aspects of cost calculation and can explain and apply the different methods.
You make a break-even analysis and calculate the break-even point.
You can explain and elaborate on profitability analyses.
You can explain pricing in hospitality and illustrate the most important methods.
You understand how the cost structure in a hotel is built up and can classify costs using different methods.
You can display and explain mathematical formulas for the most important concepts.
You perform practical exercises.
