Learning outcomes (list)

2. Basic measurements & testing – Physical: I perform water-side and air-side measurements and tests to ensure the proper functioning of an HVAC system.
I draw a block diagram showing how a P-control is expanded with an I or D function.
I list the advantages and disadvantages of different types of control loops.
I recognise the various measurement and sensor principles.
I select a specific sensor or measurement principle.
I explain how sensors contribute to the operation of an HVAC-system.
3. Read & interpret information: I read and interpret technical information and manuals in Dutch and English, including electrical, process, and instrumentation diagrams.
I explain the most commonly used control loops using a block diagram.
I explain the operation of a P-control using a block diagram.
I interpret a simple control system diagram.
11. Commissioning installations: I commission air conditioning systems according to the specified requirements.
I use control equipment to regulate an HVAC-system.
