Learning outcomes (list)

2. Basic measurements & testing – Physical: I perform water-side and air-side measurements and tests to ensure the proper functioning of an HVAC system.
I explain the concepts of torque and moment.
I measure mechanical installation components.
10. Independently assemble installations: I independently assemble air conditioning systems based on detailed instructions.
I align a transmission.
I assemble and disassemble rotating equipment.
I repair and diagnose faults in air conditioning systems.
I select the correct lubricant.
I list the advantages and disadvantages of the different mechanical transmissions.
I recognise faults in mechanical drives.
13. Maintain installations: I maintain air conditioning systems based on a maintenance plan and/or maintenance history.
I calculate the parameters for processing installation materials.
I distinguish between different types of screw threads.
