Learning outcomes (list)

OLR FV 1 - The bachelor BM/FV has insights in the processes and rules inside the finance and insurance sector, in general corporate organisational processes as well as in their interconnection, and can consequently apply these insights in a broad, globalised and changing (inter)national context.
You integrate knowledge of payment, investment, credit and insurance products.
You give an overview of the needs and risks related to payment, investment, credit and insurance products based on an analysis of market and customer data.
You provide substantiated and integrated advice based on customer analysis.
You describe the job content and role of different intermediaries, actors and market participants in the world of investments: asset manager, fund manager, (equity) analyst, market maker, broker, trader, relationship manager and others.
OLR FV 8 The bachelor BM/FV constructively collaborates as a member of a multi-disciplinary and incultural project team and takes responsibility in various tasks and roles in a company or organisation.
You combine economic, fundamental and technical analysis to underpin equity advice.
You combine wealth and succession planning with portfolio structuring.
You combine your knowledge of equities, bonds, real estate investments, derivatives and other instruments to build a balanced and diversified portfolio.
You adapt a fictitious client's portfolio in response to changing market conditions and/or changing family circumstances.
OLR FV 10 The bachelor BM/FV regulates his personal professional development, independently monitors (inter)national trends and consequently integrates the resulting insights.
You follow current events and trends related to asset management.
You investigate which new technologies are applied in asset management on the basis of cases.
