Learning outcomes (list)

1. Expertise: You have insight into how electrical and mechanical components influence each other in products, services, and systems, and you align them accordingly.
You work with laboratory measuring devices and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators.
2. Installation: You install a complex electromechanical system, commission it, and keep it operational.
You create a functioning system using existing electronic and mechanical components.
You connect external electronic components to a microcontroller, considering the technical specifications.
You work with a mechanical 3D printer to shape a design from Inventor.
You work with a laser cutting machine to shape a design from Inventor.
You create the circuit for the microcontroller and peripherals of your own design.
4. Analysis and justification: You independently analyze a technical question or problem within the framework of a complex electromechanical project and propose technically sound solutions.
You use the MultiSim software package to perform measurements on processed simulated basic circuits.
5. Design: You create structured designs within the scope of an electromechanical project, critically using various sources.
You write code using the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) adapted to the requirements of basic circuits.
6. Informed decision-making: You make a technically, sustainably, and economically sound choice from available components to integrate into an electromechanical system.
You write code using the Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) based on a self-chosen, custom-designed project.
7. Measurement: You choose relevant measurement methods, perform measurements, correctly interpret the results, and formulate optimization proposals where necessary.
You debug the code.
You measure passive elementary basic components and building blocks.
You measure the behaviour of active elementary basic components and building blocks.
9. Communication: You communicate effectively about electromechanical products and designs in an international context, in Dutch and at least one other language.
You write a technical manual for your design.
