Learning outcomes (list)

1. Expertise: You have insight into how electrical and mechanical components influence each other in products, services, and systems, and you align them accordingly.
You calculate using standard units in hydropneumatics (m³/h, l/min, bar, MPa, …).
You explain the function and use of electronic, hydropneumatic, and vacuum components.
2. Installation: You install a complex electromechanical system, commission it, and keep it operational.
You work safely and professionally with control panels.
You identify the cause of a malfunction in an/a (electro-/hydro-) pneumatic circuit.
You repair malfunctions in an/a (electro-/hydro-) pneumatic circuit.
5. Design: You create structured designs within the scope of an electromechanical project, critically using various sources.
You create hydropneumatic diagrams using simulation software and you test them.
You justify the choice of hydropneumatic components based on researched data and specifications.
You assemble a functioning basic hydropneumatic circuit.
7. Measurement: You choose relevant measurement methods, perform measurements, correctly interpret the results, and formulate optimization proposals where necessary.
You use different sensors in specific conditions.
10. Collaboration: You work constructively in a multidisciplinary and intercultural team, taking responsibility for determining and achieving the group’s result within an industrial context.
You actively contribute to achieving the collective result of a team assignment with fellow students.
