Short description

You will work in multidisciplinary teams (with students from different labs, programs and possibly foreign students) for two intensive weeks on a case study that is briefed, supervised and assessed by (international) guest lecturers. These conceptual projects are related to the professional background of the guest lecturers, or start from a central theme. In this setting you are challenged to think outside of traditional limitations and you experience the added value of discussions with colleagues, lecturers and guest lecturers.

Learning outcomes (list)

put several tools in (object-oriented programming, build websites, database management and XML) recorded against specific web applications
You strengthen each other in generating out-of-the-box ideas from different disciplines and perspectives.

The following topics will be discussed:

  • project approach to an online/international collaboration
  • online and offline collaboration across borders
  • being able to approach a problem from different angles
  • coming to conclusions together in which everyone can contribute according to their own competencies and expertise
