Development of a personal interpretation of the human figure through observation, anatomical knowledge, and sculptural analysis.
Realisation of small studies and life-size figures in clay with attention to construction, anatomical coherence, and plastic articulation.
Translation of sketches, design drawings, and model studies into autonomous sculptural forms.
Investigation of personal choices in form, movement, surface treatment, texture, rhythm, and expression within the modelling process.
Integration of observation, interpretation, and artistic autonomy in the development of a coherent visual language.
Course Content 2
Experimentation and Plastic Strategies
Further development of modelling, mould-making, and finishing techniques within complex sculptural applications.
Experimentation with scale, fragmentation, deformation, material expression, and constructive solutions within figurative sculpture.
Investigation of different plastic strategies and their relationship to content, form, and artistic intention.
Application of mould-making and casting techniques in more complex forms and sculptural structures.
Reflection on the working process, technical choices, and the relationship between construction and interpretation.

Artistic Positioning
Analysis of historical and contemporary examples in sculpture and their relationship to the student’s own artistic practice.
Investigation of sculptural traditions, contemporary approaches, and relevant artistic references through visual material, texts, and independent research.
Development of insight into the social, conceptual, and material context of sculptural production processes.
Presentation and discussion of personal work during group discussions, studio visits, and evaluation moments.
Exercises focused on articulating, contextualising, and critically reflecting on one’s own sculptural practice.
