Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Short description

In this module, you’ll learn to work with AI-driven development tools (vibe coding) to build functional prototypes and applications quickly. The focus isn’t on writing every line of code, but on directing AI tools, critically reviewing generated code, and making prototypes scalable.
You’ll work on two practical projects: a mobile application (React Native) and a creative Three.js experience. You’ll learn how to get started effectively with vibe coding, how to review code for quality and scalability, and how to prepare an MVP for growth.
A basic knowledge of JavaScript is an advantage but not essential. You are able to analyse problems independently and are keen to explore new tools and workflows.

In this online course, you should allow for additional costs for software, apps and/or plugins.

Learning outcomes (list)

You develop a creative concept for your application using contemporary style trends.
You formulate effective prompts to direct AI tools towards the desired result.
You iterate critically on AI output and improve where necessary.
You use a modern version control system to store your code and collaborate.
You work with package managers and understand the management of dependencies.
You set up projects correctly using CLI commands and configuration files.
You use modern frameworks and libraries when developing your projects.
You test your application systematically across different scenarios and edge cases.
You identify and resolve problems in code that you did not write yourself.
You document your code so that agents can better continue the work.
You structure your project with reusable components.
You provide opportunities for expansion so that your project does not get stuck at an MVP.
You present your projects in a convincing manner.
You explain your technical choices and the scalability of your solution.
